Does anyone know how to make sm. vases from table knife handles? I have an upcoming wedding. Martha Stwart made sm. individual vases from (table) knife handles. They are so neat, and each one is different. I can't find the instructions. Does anyone know how to make them, or how to remove the blade? Please help! woodturner replied: "I missed that show.

It has a hallmark I can't identify on the German silver hallmarks sites. I assumed the piece is German because it has the word "rostfrei" or rust-free, on the blade. If your appendix did in fact burst, my understanding is that you'd be in an unbelievable amount of pain and it would be unlikely that you would be steady or clear headed enough to perform such a procedure should it be necessary.
Since you've got time to prepare, perhaps an emergency medical fund might be something to consider setting up.
